Kota Divisional Library observes Hindi Diwas


The Government Divisional Library, Kota celebrated the Hindi Diwas on 14th September, 2017. This day was observed Hindi Diwas as Hindi written in Devnagari script was approved as an official language by the Constituent Assembly on 14th September, 1949. It is celebrated annually to pay tribute to the official language of India. To celebrate Hindi Diwas, the library conducted a Conference on the Theme - “Existing Scenario of Hindi Language: Challenges and Possibilities”. Renowned National level Poet Mr. Atul Kannak was the Chief Guest, Dr. Om Nagar was the Special Guest, and Program is presided by Dr Arvind Kumar Soral, Chief Spokes Person, Professor Vivek Mishra, and Guest Spokes Person was the Kids literature Writer Smt. Krishna Kumari. The library also conducted a week long activities and organized various activities with kids like Hindi Writing Competition, Debate and Lecture Competitions, etc. Top three in all activities are appreciated by Medal. Rajabhasha Kirti Award – 2017 being honored to Mr. Atul Kannak.
